Whether your child is navigating ADHD, autism, learning differences, or emotional regulation challenges, we’re here to offer thoughtful and thorough assessments, guidance, and support that is tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
Our clinic is currently assessing children and youth ages 3 to 18 years old.

A Safe Space for Every Mind
We believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, and understood—not just for their challenges, but for their whole self.
At The Neurodivergent Butterfly, we approach every assessment with deep respect for the whole child—not just their challenges, but also their strengths, potential, and unique ways of seeing the world.
We use a strength-based, evidence-informed framework that blends clinical expertise with compassion, ensuring that each child feels seen, safe, and supported throughout the process.
What We Offer
We recognize that neurodivergent children experience the world in rich and varied ways. Our role is to help uncover how they learn, connect, and thrive—and to ensure they are supported at home, in school, and in life.
We see families as partners in this process. You know your child best, and we’re here to walk alongside you—with honesty, expertise, and heart.

Intake Assessment
Are confidential sessions with parents or guardians helps us understand your child’s developmental history, current challenges, and daily functioning. We’ll discuss concerns around attention, learning, and emotional regulation, while exploring your child’s strengths. This meeting helps determine if an ADHD assessment is appropriate and gives space for your questions and concerns.

Child Assessment
This is a relaxed, child-centered session where we work one-on-one to explore areas such as attention, memory, and emotional regulation. Sessions may include interactive tasks, play-based activities, or conversations depending on your child’s age and needs.
The day is designed to be low-stress and developmentally appropriate. Our goal is to gain meaningful insight into your child’s thinking and behavior in a safe, supportive space.

Follow Up Appointments
We will go over the results, explain what they mean in practical terms, and discuss any diagnoses, if applicable. We’ll also provide tailored recommendations to support your child at home, at school, and in daily life—whether or not a diagnosis is given. This is a collaborative space for you to ask questions, gain clarity, and leave with a clear understanding of next steps and available support options.
What Does "Strength-Based" Mean?
Rather than focusing solely on what a child may struggle with, we pay close attention to what they do well. We explore their:
-
Learning styles
-
Communication strengths
-
Creative thinking
-
Social connections
-
Resilience and emotional insight
By highlighting these strengths alongside areas of difficulty, we create a more balanced, empowering understanding of your child—and support plans that build on what’s already working.
Our assessments are grounded in current, evidence-based tools and best practices in child psychology, ADHD and autism diagnostics, and developmental science. Every assessment is thoughtfully selected and adapted to fit your child’s:
-
Age and developmental level
-
Cultural background
-
Communication preferences
-
Comfort and attention needs
We aim to make the process as engaging, low-stress, and meaningful as possible—always led by the child’s pace and personality.
A Collaborative, Family-Centered Process
From start to finish, we work with you, not just for you. We listen closely to your concerns, experiences, and hopes. Our goal is not just to provide a label, but to offer clarity, direction, and reassurance.
At the end of the process, you’ll receive a clear, comprehensive report—written in family-friendly language—that includes:
-
Key findings
-
A holistic view of your child’s profile
-
Practical, personalized recommendations for home, school, and beyond
We believe neurodivergence is not a deficit—but a difference. Through our assessments, we hope to uncover not just what your child needs, but what makes them shine.
